Our Beginners DJ Class is designed to be your starting point into the realm of DJing, and we're thrilled to guide you through the fundamentals using state-of-the-art Pioneer DJ equipment. Pioneer DJ is renowned for its innovative and reliable gear, setting the standard in the industry, and you're about to embark on a journey that puts that cutting-edge technology at your fingertips. Learning on the Pioneer DJ equipment will set you up to play on any DJ system at any club in the world.

In this course, we'll unravel the mysteries of DJing, breaking down the essential skills, techniques, and concepts that every aspiring DJ needs to know. Whether you're a complete novice or have dabbled in DJing before, our step-by-step approach will empower you to understand the gear, master the art of mixing, and craft your unique sonic signature.

By the end of this DJ class or course, you'll equipped with the basics DJ skills.

We also offer a more extensive and in depth DJ class: our DJ Masterclass builds on the beginners DJ class. This course is an comprehensive eight hour long, spread over four DJ lessons and training. The DJ Masterclass takes place in a group setting with no more than four students at a time to allow for optimal learning outcomes and class environment to learn how to DJ from scratch.

The DJ Masterclass is designed for new comers and DJs that have little experience on the deck. The DJ course covers the basics of DJing, FX use, advanced mixing and includes a mix recording session. Here is the DJ masterclass curriculum:

Equipment Familiarization: Introduction to the Pioneer CDJ 3000 and Pioneer mixer V-10, headphones, and speakers.
‍DJ Software: Learn the fundamentals of standard DJ software: Rekordbox & Mixinkey.

‍Track Organization: Learn efficient methods for cataloging and organizing your music collection.​

Session 2: Mixing Techniques
Song Structure: Understand the structure of songs and how to identify key mixing points.

‍Beatmatching and Tempo Control: Understand the importance of matching beats and controlling tempo for seamless transitions.
